Today’s Top Tech Companies Will Showcase New Collaboration Technology Increasing Workplace Productivity
WASHINGTON – October 15, 2015 – AVI-SPL, the world’s leader in AV system integration and collaboration solutions, will host Technology Day at its Washington area office, in nearby Herndon, Va., on Wednesday, October 28, 2015.
Since opening in 1999, AVI-SPL’s Washington office has worked with many of the top influential companies, as well as government agencies, in the area for the design and installation of presentation systems in boardrooms, training rooms and other high-tech meeting facilities.
Aimed at helping CIO’s, IT decision makers, facilities managers, and other key personnel in charge of creating a more productive workplace, AVI-SPL’s Technology Day brings together the top tech giants in the industry, including: Crestron, Polycom, Biamp, Harman and Cisco.
“We like to give our customers a chance to see the newest technology in action,” says John Zettel, CEO of AVI-SPL. “By seeing live demos and talking to the experts, professionals tasked with upgrading their organization’s collaboration and productivity get a sense of what their company needs.”
Product demos will take place throughout the event, including the highly-anticipated Microsoft Surface Hub, tabbed by many industry experts as the future of workplace meetings. Christie, SHARP, Seneca, Sonic Foundry, NEC, Chief/Da-Lite, Samsung and SMART will also provide live demonstrations while explaining how each product can improve efficiency within an organization.
Keynote Speaker Joe Laezza, AVI-SPL’s Senior Vice President of Unified Communications and Collaboration, will discuss the transformation of the workplace and what companies need to do to stay competitive when contending for customers and recruiting new talent.
“Clients, and especially the top employee prospects you want in your organization, are now expecting you to have certain technology in your workplace,” says Laezza. “If these necessary elements are missing, attracting the best people is an uphill battle.”
The event begins at 8:30 a.m. ET and wraps up around 3 p.m. ET. For more information, including event schedule, location, and registration form, please visit our DC Tech Day homepage.
