Drunk Unkles Garner Support for NYC Event, Education Foundation, PASS Program

AVI-SPL is the latest to support a charity concert with proceeds benefiting important industry programs.

When music fans crowd into New York City’sThe Cutting Room on Thursday, Oct. 29—doors open at 6 p.m.—to watch AV industry band the Drunk Unkles take the stage, they’ll get more than a rock-solid blues performance. They’ll get the satisfaction that 100 percent of the proceeds from their $20 tickets go the NSCA Education Foundation and, in particular, a large portion will be donated to the Partner Alliance for Safer Schools (PASS) K-12 initiative, created by NSCA and SIA (Security Industry Association).So will the event’s sponsors, the latest of which is AVI-SPL which joins FSR, Crestron, Media Vision, Sapphire Marketing and West Penn Wire.
