Video Routing and Processing in Disparate Hybrid Environments

Video Routing and Processing in Disparate Hybrid Environments

The ongoing paradigm shift to digital continues to offer what seem to be endless opportunities in all sectors of the audiovisual industry. However, along with these opportunities come an abundance of challenges. One such challenge is in environments that comprise a mix of digital and analog (legacy) audiovisual signals of dissimilar resolution, frame rates and physical interfaces. In these environments, signal distribution, routing and processing may present a challenge to designers and integrators who would want to distribute and process audiovisual signals via a centralized matrix router (i.e. house router). In this presentation, TV One introduces CORIOMax, its new line of “intelligent” routers/processors designed to elegantly and efficiently solve the hybrid environment conundrum.
