AVI-SPL Reflects on ISE 2022

After a two-year hiatus, the first full in-person ISE show happened in May 2022 in Barcelona. The show marked a successful return to in-person events.  AVI-SPL was there in force with a vibrant booth and full contingent of staff.

Visitors to our booth saw demos of the AVI-SPL Symphony user experience platform, and met members of the XTG, experience technology group, and UCC teams.

At 824 booths strong, there was something for everyone to see at the show. With the next big pro AV/UC show, just days away, we asked our team to reflect what they saw, heard, and experienced at ISE 2022. Perhaps we’ll see the same trends at InfoComm, along with something new!

“Seeing the impressive amount of technology partners and customers in the same space again – talking trends, strategy, and future state. Seeing all the wheels turning on the ‘art of the possible'”

Was there a trend in the conversations you had?
“It was impressive how many global integrators came up to our booth and expressed interest in working with us. It’s very evident how strong our brand is, and how much everyone wants to work with us. On the client side, Symphony was the star of the show, followed by XTG.”

Which new technology wowed you?
“While the most “wow” factors were around displays and even holographs, I really loved what Appspace is doing beyond signage, with the mobile app, wayfinding, and space management. I found the UX to be clean, intuitive, and impressive.”
