This webinar will cover the basics of applying high-end, automated distance learning and lecture capture techniques in UC environments in higher education. Vaddio technology allow for remote and/or in-room access, which allows for effective online learning as well as maximizing the audio and visual experience for in-room students. This online platform is ideal for teaching in a digital world. During this event, we’ll highlight:
- Vaddio’s automation products
- In-room visual display sizing needs
- Advantages of common central command of these systems using IP control as well as IP streaming video.
Scott Rolfes, Senior Field Applications Engineer
Scott Rolfes has over 25 years of experience as a Broadcast Engineer with a focus on live production, satellite, and terrestrial transmission, microwave and fiber systems, and designing and building studios and control rooms. He holds multiple associate degrees in Electronics Technology, Pre-Engineering, and Liberal Arts. Scott is currently in Vaddio’s Applications Engineering department but has also been involved in Product Management, Technical Training, Technical Support and Trade Show functions with Vaddio. Among his other interests are concept prototyping, product development, designing and modifying audio equipment, electronics and mechanics.
Todd Bergum, Consultant Liaison, CTS, Vaddio
Todd is the National Consultant Manager at Vaddio, a Milestone AV Technologies brand. Todd has held management positions with other Pro-AV manufacturers including Telex/Electrovoice and TOA Electronics. He spent seven years as a Regional Manager at Biamp Systems and ten years as National Sales Manager and Partner at Williams Sound Corp. Todd is CTS certified since 2007 and holds many certificates including various DSP certifications, Renkus-Heinz Line-Array deign certification and Syn-Aud-Con certificates beginning in 1986. Todd has a degree in Electronics Technology from Brown College.
