How Shure Audio Solutions Drive AI Readiness, Productivity, and ROI

Communication, context, and completion were three core talking points at Zoomtopia 2026. While it may be second on the list, context is at the heart of how we communicate and drive positive business outcomes. In this blog, we’ll look at how Zoom is using contextual AI to connect conversations, content, and expertise, helping teams get work done faster.
“Zoom is looking at how to enhance the platform as a whole, not as isolated features,” said Derrick Kelly, AVI-SPL Vice President, Solutions Enablement. “So, every piece contributes to a better workplace experience.”
How does it all work? Zoom’s unified contextual AI layer is built into My Notes, Workplace App, My Notes for Phone, Follow Meetings, and an extension to external AI sources like Claude.
Initially popular AI tools included voice tracking, live captions and translations, note-taking, and transcripts. Now Zoom is bringing contextual AI directly into live conversations.
With its new AI meeting functionality, Live Meeting Assist (LMA), end users will be able to live translate conversations in real time and in their voice and tone. A person speaking English with someone speaking Spanish will hear English responses and vice versa.
With live translation, everyone can follow the spoken message in their natural language, reducing the chance of misunderstandings.
LMA also ensures voice fidelity remains crystal clear. Visually, LMA helps end users stay more engaged in meetings, even when their eyes glance at another screen or notepad. Screen sharing runs at up to 60 frames per second. And real-time guidance helps you improve when it matters most.
“Live Meeting Assist can analyze the conversation as it happens,” said Kelly. “It can surface a prompt such as, ‘Talk about this. This might be a good pathway for you.’”
Much of today’s collaboration happens in chat. People share files, ask questions, and keep projects moving without ever starting a meeting. Now, AI agents can participate in those conversations, too.
The benefit? Everyone works from the same information, even as projects evolve.
“The AI-embedded components take all of that and apply a layer of context,” said Kelly. “By connecting internal communication and messaging, the system can automatically feed people the information they need based on their role in the conversation.”
Zoom Phone, Contact Center, and Workspace app are embracing contextual AI too.
Projects can stall when a team has to search old chats, look for a document on the company intranet, or wait for an expert to answer a question.
The AI layer can help people complete work by bringing relevant information and expertise directly into day-to-day workflows. Instead of piecing together information from multiple sources, teams can get what they need while they work in the platform.
Zoom will pull information as it is updated from customer records, calls, presentations, and more. And because that layer extends beyond the Zoom platform into other AI systems, the user can bring context with them anywhere.
“Your employee experience becomes easier to manage because information is fed to you instead of you having to go find it,” Kelly shared. “Customers can get in-the-moment expertise from the person they already know and trust, while that person receives expertise in the background.”
Fewer manual handoffs reduce the risk of losing valuable information. Whether creating proposals, consulting experts, following up with customers, or advancing business goals, AI connects conversations across meetings and activities to next steps. Teams spend less time searching for information and more time moving projects forward.
