TAMPA, Fla. — October 9, 2026 — AVI-SPL, the leading global provider of technology solutions that transform how people and technology connect, today announced the promotion of Christine Rogers to Senior Vice President of its Experiential Technology Group (XTG). In her new role, Rogers will lead XTG into its next phase of growth and innovation, building on the group’s success in helping organizations create transformative experiences through technology.
“Christine has been integral to XTG’s success and evolution, and she is the right leader to take the business forward,” said Dale Bottcher, AVI-SPL’s Chief Revenue Officer. “She has a deep understanding of our clients, our people and the opportunities ahead. Her ability to bring teams together, build strong relationships and connect innovation to business outcomes positions XTG exceptionally well for its next phase of growth.”
Rogers has played an instrumental role in the development and evolution of XTG. She joined Whitlock to help build the experiential practice that ultimately became XTG following Whitlock’s combination with AVI-SPL. Since then, she has helped shape the strategy, capabilities and team behind the business while building strong relationships with clients and industry partners.
Throughout her career, Rogers has focused on helping organizations rethink how people connect with technology, spaces and experiences. She is recognized for developing high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and aligning technology investments with meaningful business outcomes.
Rogers succeeds Julian Phillips, who has led XTG since its inception and will remain with AVI-SPL through the end of 2026 to support the leadership transition and contribute to strategic initiatives focused on AI, digital workplace experience and the future of work. Beginning in 2027, Phillips will continue his relationship with AVI-SPL as a strategic advisor.
Phillips joined Whitlock 16 years ago and has played a significant role in the growth of both Whitlock and AVI-SPL. In founding and scaling XTG, he brought together creative vision, technical expertise and an entrepreneurial approach that helped establish AVI-SPL as a leader in experiential technology. He also built a culture centered on innovation, creativity and collaboration and developed a leadership team positioned to carry XTG forward.
“Julian’s vision and leadership have made a lasting impact on AVI-SPL and our industry,” said John Zettel, AVI-SPL’s Chief Executive Officer. “We are grateful for everything he has built and contributed, and we are pleased that we will continue to benefit from his perspective and expertise. With Christine leading XTG and the talented team she has helped build, we are excited about what comes next.”
“I’m honored to lead XTG into its next chapter,” said Rogers. “What makes XTG special is our ability to bring together creativity, technology and business strategy to create experiences that make a meaningful difference for our clients and their audiences. Julian established an incredible foundation, and I look forward to building on it alongside our talented team as we continue to innovate and grow.”
