When AI works well, it doesn’t steal the spotlight — it quietly improves the experience for everyone.
That’s the focus of a recent episode of The Collaboration Space, where we sat down with Dr. Micah Shippee, Director of Education Solutions and Channel Sales at Samsung, to talk about how AI is helping people connect more clearly and get more out of every meeting.
One of the biggest challenges in live collaboration is keeping everyone engaged, especially when meetings are hybrid or information-heavy. Shippee shared how AI-powered transcription helps solve that problem.
Samsung’s interactive displays use real-time captions to help participants follow along more easily. Once the meeting ends, the system automatically generates a summary with titles, key points, and next steps—all ready to share. For presenters and attendees alike, it’s an effortless way to make meetings more accessible and useful.
Samsung built its AI tools around the idea that technology should make meetings easier, not harder. Users can log in through a QR code and start instantly with no setup or extra training required.
Each login is secure and personal, ensuring accountability and data protection. As Shippee explained, Samsung wanted to design AI tools that feel familiar and approachable while keeping privacy at the center.
AI isn’t just improving the way meetings run—it’s helping people act on what they learn.
With tools like Circle Search, users can highlight words or images on screen and instantly pull up related information or summaries. It’s a simple feature with big impact, turning discussions into interactive learning moments and helping ideas flow naturally.
Shippee described Samsung’s approach as “human-first technology.” The goal isn’t to replace the way people communicate but to make it smoother and more inclusive.
Together, Samsung and AVI-SPL are helping organizations create meeting spaces where AI handles the background tasks—so people can focus on the ideas, not the tools..
