Taking action
One simple way to reduce carbon emissions is to reduce the number and distance of the trips our fleet vehicles make to customer sites. AVI-SPL’s Global Supply Chain Management team is taming the spaghetti models of vehicle routing maps to dramatically increase our efficiency. Our supply chain transformation is underway.
We don’t just recycle our e-waste – we refurbish and donate it. In the U.S., all IT assets at the end of their useful life are collected, sorted, and decommissioned by our partner eSmart Recycling. Anything that can be repaired, from laptops to monitors and other electronics, gets a new life in a community charity.
Our Cybersecurity Center’s routine phishing simulations are “fire drills” for cyberattacks. Even the most hardened network and greatest detection software can’t catch all attempts. We make sure our employees learn the red flags to boost security awareness and ultimately keep company and customer data safe.
