AVI-SPL Appoints Daryl Grove as Managing Director, Asia Pacific

HONG KONG, 4 November 2026 – AVI-SPL today announced the appointment of Daryl Grove as Managing Director, Asia Pacific, effective 1 January 2027, as the company aligns its operations across the region under a unified leadership structure.

Based in Hong Kong, Grove will assume responsibility for leading AVI-SPL’s business across Australia, India, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and other Asia Pacific markets.

The appointment reflects AVI-SPL’s continued investment in Asia Pacific and marks the next stage in the region’s evolution, building on the strong foundations already established across the business while further connecting the region to AVI-SPL’s global capabilities, expertise and customer network.

A Unified Asia Pacific Organisation

The new regional structure creates greater alignment across AVI-SPL’s Asia Pacific operations, enabling the business to leverage its collective expertise more effectively while strengthening connections with AVI-SPL’s global teams, resources and best practices.

While each market will continue to maintain its local customer focus and deep understanding of business needs, the structure provides a stronger platform for growth and enables customers and partners to benefit from both local expertise and global scale.

A Leader with Deep Regional Experience

Grove brings more than two decades of leadership experience across Asia Pacific and international markets, having lived and worked throughout the region for 26 years before relocating to the United Kingdom in 2022.

He began his career with PwC in the UK before moving to New Zealand and later Hong Kong in 1996. Over the following decades, he held senior leadership positions across the region and internationally and has worked within the audiovisual industry since 2009.

Since joining AVI-SPL in January 2021 as Asia Pacific Sales Director, Grove has played a key role in the region’s growth and development. In January 2023, he was promoted to Regional Director of Sales, International, becoming a member of the International Leadership Team and helping lead a period during which bookings across the region more than doubled over three years.

Known for his people-first leadership style, Grove is passionate about developing trusted leaders, creating clear accountability and fostering a culture where teams succeed together.
