AVI-SPL Earns 11 Honors at the 2026 Higher Ed AV Awards

AVI-SPL is proud to announce that we received 11 awards at the 2026 Higher Ed AV Awards, presented by the Higher Education Technology Managers Alliance (HETMA). This year’s honors include the prestigious Integrator of the Year award, Vendor Rep of the Year for Jourdan Cook, and four customer-submitted projects recognized with Gold Awards. 

Our customer-led recognitions highlight the strength of AVI-SPL’s partnerships and the lasting impact our solutions have on supporting higher education: 

• Mohawk College – Best AV over IP Project, Best Sustainability Project, Best Classroom Installation (Upgrade) 

• Vanderbilt University – Best Classroom Installation (Upgrade) 

AVI-SPL also earned top honors for several projects submitted directly by our teams, showcasing our commitment to creating technology-enabled learning experiences that foster student success. Award-winning projects included: 

• Riverside City College – Best Interdepartmental Collaboration (Gold) 

• Old Dominion University – Best Classroom Installation (Gold) 

• Bow Valley College – Best Experiential Project (Best in Class) 

• Wake Forest University/Atrium Health – Best AV Over IP Project (Best in Class)
