John Zettel Recognized With Technology & Innovation Award at Inaugural Invest: Tampa Bay Awards

AVI-SPL CEO John Zettel was named the recipient of the Technology & Innovation Award at the inaugural Invest: Tampa Bay Awards, recognizing his leadership and contributions to technology and innovation in the Tampa Bay region. 

Since becoming CEO in 2005, John has helped guide AVI-SPL through growth and transformation as a global technology solutions provider. Under his leadership, the company has continued to advance how organizations use technology to create better experiences. That work spans industries and geographies, but Tampa Bay remains an important part of AVI-SPL’s story. 

Zettel expanded on AVI-SPL’s relationship with the region in a July interview with Invest: Tampa Bay. 

“We did not set out to be a global company, but Tampa Bay has been the right place for us as we became one,” Zettel said. “It offers access to talent and has supported hiring across levels of the organization. It is also an attractive relocation destination, with quality of life and cost-of-living advantages.” 

The recognition also reflects the work of the AVI-SPL team around the world. John’s leadership has helped bring together the people, expertise and innovation needed to deliver our global impact for customers.
