University of Kansas Medical Center Health Education Building

The University of Kansas Medical Center strives to offer their students an environment full of diversity and valuable learning experiences. In order to enrich the learning opportunities at the Schools of Medicine, the KUMC Health Education Building needed to be upgraded so that future physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals could experience state-of-the-art simulations, flexible classrooms, and studios to advance their learning.

To meet the growing demands of medical education, SKC Communications (now AVI-SPL) outfitted the facility with advanced AV technology, including solutions in mock exam rooms, simulation labs, and study rooms, along with learning studios and classrooms that seat thirty to 225 students.
