KU was eager to update it’s technology to empower the communication and collaboration needs of an constantly evolving business community.
Solution
SKC Communications (now AVI-SPL) provided the hardware, installation, and programming for the new University of Kansas School of Business in Capitol Federal Hall. The building consists of multiple scale-up technology classrooms, an auditorium, and a finance lab with a real-time stock market ticker. The atrium features both large and small video walls for digital signage and presentations.
Results
Capitol Federal Hall is a 166,500 square-foot building that serves as a destination point for students determined to move business forward. From state-of-the-art technology to research labs, Capital Federal Hall is now a hub for collaboration and innovation. The building features twenty classrooms, a 350 seat auditorium, and twenty-five collaborative spaces. The University of Kansas is equipped as a central hub for student-run startups filled with tools and resources for growth.
